The Challenge
The team needed precise control over retention-sample stock (intake, withdrawals, expiry and destruction) and the archive of document boxes, with a record of every change and entirely within the company's own infrastructure, with no public exposure.
Our Solution
We built an internal web system with two modules — retention samples and document boxes/archive — with sign-in through corporate accounts (Active Directory), a change audit trail, filters and Excel/PDF export on every view. In 2023 we migrated it to Windows Server 2022 and SQL Server 2019: web server and database work, with no code changes. Later we added reconciliation, destruction and disposal reports, and lot validation.
