The Challenge
The programme trains civil society organisations from several countries in organisational strengthening: human capital, fundraising, administration and finance, among other areas. Each participant had to find courses in their own language, complete registration forms and follow a structured path. The programme team, in turn, needed to track that progress and export the data. The platform also had to be able to add other organisations and programmes later without starting over.
Our Solution
We built the campus on IOMAD, the multi-tenant edition of Moodle, so OROF runs as its own organisation within a structure ready to grow. We designed the interface on RemUI with the programme's identity and developed more than ten custom plugins: course titles and home-page blocks that show each person the courses in their language, registration forms on Edwiser Forms with validation and organisation autocomplete, activity access control based on each learning path, a per-course progress bar, export of registrations and progress for the team, and bulk user configuration tools. We also handle Moodle and IOMAD configuration and performance optimisation.
