The Challenge
In 2020, because of the pandemic, Taller El Altillo, the workshop led by visual artist Nadia Gurevich, couldn't hold its annual exhibition. It had to show the work of 30 to 40 students, from 5-year-olds to teenagers and adults, with no venue and no way to photograph the pieces in person: each family sent home photos of their work.
Our Solution
We designed an imaginary gallery with ten themed rooms and built it alongside the classes. We post-produced and assembled in Photoshop the photos families sent, modeled the space in 3D and programmed the tour in Unity, exported to WebGL so it opens in the browser. Sculptures and volumetric pieces were rendered with a 2.5D technique that simulates depth, and every work carries its author's name. We also handled publishing and hosting.

Results & Impact
- Dozens of drawings, paintings, collages and sculptures exhibited across ten rooms.
- An exhibition that grew with the workshop: as rooms were added, families were invited to visit.
- The whole process handled by one team, from a phone photo to the online exhibition, with nothing to install.
